A WORD FOR YOU (AND ME) FROM THE LORD
ALSO CELEBRATING 9 YEARS OF PGIM!NOTE: I started writing this as 'A David Musing', then realised that the Lord was trying to say something important, not about David, but about Himself and His desires and His plans for you and me. A practical lesson in 'hearing from God'! Our series will continue next week, the Lord desiring.....
A change I have noticed this year has been that more and more people are starting to get an understanding of what this 'weird guy' David Tait has been spouting forth about for 9 years (this week) in PGIM, and for a shorter time in Tuesday Teachings.
17 years or so ago now, the Lord started to show me the foundations of what I then called 'Tabernacles', or 'Taberneagles' understanding. It was, and is, all about the building of the end time church, the perfect, pure white bride for whom Jesus is returning. The seed for this revelation was sown in the Latter Rain Movement of the 1940's and 50's. In recent years, similar revelation has become known as the 'kingdom movement', involving the establishment of God's kingdom upon the earth as we pray for (but have not understood or accepted), in the Lord's Prayer. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven'.
In the church we have been so focused on 'getting out of here', of escaping to a heavenly home, that we have ignored the re-establishment of the 'earthly kingdom lost', when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit.
In recent times more and more of His disciples have been grasping this revelation for themselves. For it is not something that can be taught, but an understanding and life application that must come from the very heart of God into the individual believer.
While one can share experiences and principles with you, you need to study and meditate upon the Word personally, so that the kingdom understanding and personal application can become your life in Jesus. Gone are the days of following this teacher or that. Now we are to fully follow Jesus. It has a cost. It takes time. It takes study. It takes meditation and prayer. It involves sacrifice. For our lifestyle has to parallel our spiritual understanding.
16 Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?†17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?†Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.†18 “Which ones?†the man inquired. Jesus replied, â€â€˜Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, 19 honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’†20 “All these I have kept,†the young man said. “What do I still lack?†21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.†(Matthew 19:16-21)
This is not easy! For we are not only ridiculed by the world, but also, misunderstood by many Christians. Yes, kingdom living really is a challenge!
Yet there is now a growing group of people, from many different spiritual backgrounds, who are putting aside the past in order to become sold out disciples of Jesus, so fulfilling the scriptures.....
14 “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16)
It does not mean that you have to leave your church, although you may be led to. For there is indeed no other church to join, no new denomination to find, or church grouping to build.....
nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.†(Luke 17:21)
While primarily a spiritual kingdom.....
17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, (Romans 14:17)
.....our life application of the spiritual principles will see the start of the manifestation of the kingdom upon the earth.....
7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready. 8 Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.†(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.) (Revelation 19:7-8)
.....in preparation for its fulfillment when Jesus returns for His bride and the wedding of the Lamb.....
9 Then the angel said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!’†And he added, “These are the true words of God.†(Revelation 19:9)
.....to rule and reign with Him.....
6 Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. (Revelation 20:6)
This understanding is a sign that the end of the end times is rapidly approaching. For there is new urgency amongst a growing number of Jesus disciples to truly 'walk with Jesus'. The compromises and half heartedness of our current, inward focused, 'grey church', are starting to be recognised and rejected by those whose very being is sold out to God.
Enough of David. Now from the Lord. The Lord understands you may feel alone in your walk as you seek to serve Jesus 100%.....
8 Still other seed fell on good soil, (CHRISTIANS) where it produced a crop—a hundred, (SPEAKING OF PERFECTION, OF THE BRIDE) sixty or thirty times what was sown (MAJORITY OF BELIEVERS). (Matthew 13:8)
.....while surrounded by 30 and 60 fold believers who are less committed. Your trust and faith, is in me, says the Lord. I will never fail you and see you through the challenges the kingdom lifestyle brings.....
20 David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished. (1 Chronicles 28:20)
.....for today, you are the temple of the Lord.
This word today is not for all, as the Lord (not David) needs to reveal it to you. As the Parable of the Sower concludes in the next verse.....
9 He who has ears, let him hear.†(Matthew 13:9)
May the Lord be with you as you seek Him and submit to His will in your life.

FROM THE WORD
The Coming of the Kingdom of God"Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.†Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it. Men will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them. For the Son of Man in his day will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other. But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. “It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. On that day no one who is on the roof of his house, with his goods inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything. Remember Lot’s wife! Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.†“Where, Lord?†they asked. He replied, “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.â€" (Luke 17:20-37)
The Weak and the Strong
"Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters. One man’s faith allows him to eat everything, but another man, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. The man who eats everything must not look down on him who does not, and the man who does not eat everything must not condemn the man who does, for God has accepted him. Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand. One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord. He who eats meat, eats to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains, does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. For none of us lives to himself alone and none of us dies to himself alone. If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living. You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. It is written: â€â€˜As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.’†So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother’s way. As one who is in the Lord Jesus, I am fully convinced that no food is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for him it is unclean. If your brother is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy your brother for whom Christ died. Do not allow what you consider good to be spoken of as evil. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men. Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a man to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble. It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother to fall. So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the man who does not condemn himself by what he approves. But the man who has doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin." (Romans 14:1-23)
The Rich Young Man
"Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?†“Why do you ask me about what is good?†Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.†“Which ones?†the man inquired.
Jesus replied, â€â€˜Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’†“All these I have kept,†the young man said. “What do I still lack?†Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.†When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.†When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?†Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.†Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?†Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first." (Matthew 19:16-30)

DAVID'S DOODLINGS
HEAVENLY TRUTHS GOD HAS SHOWN ME739. - 809. God has shown me that...
... He can change me if I let Him.
... while salvation is free, the walk with Jesus is to cost us everything we have.
... our love for Him is reflected through our service to others.
... His love is infinitely greater than my hurts, and His grace, than my sins.
... I can't hide anything from Him, even though I try.
... while we currently live in the Age of Grace, one day it will come to an end.
... His grace can only be activated through our repentance.
... our part is to present the Truth. Other's responsibility is to accept or reject it.
... unity comes from the Spirit, not the soul.
... happiness and joyfulness are not the same.
... without Him, we will never fulfil our potential.
... the more I get into Him, the more He gets into me.
... the more time I spend with Him, the more time He has to make changes in me.
... His love never fails, but other's love may.

CRANWELL'S CARTOON
4 This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created. When the LORD God made the earth and the heavens— 5 and no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for the LORD God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no man to work the ground, 6 but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground— 7 the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. That's one less test I have to take."
249. LETTER FROM GOD
One day God sent one of His angels to earth to see how things were going. The angel came back and reported to God that things were very bad and very few people seemed to even want to live a godly life. God decided he had better send another angel for a second opinion. After a short time that angel came back with the same report.
So God decided that he would send a letter to each of the people that he felt were truly willing to serve Him and encourage them to keep the faith and continue to strive in the midst of evil.
Do you know what was in that letter?
No? Oh sorry, I guess you didn't get one.
248. PIPE ORGAN

28. AISLE, ALTAR, HYMNDuring the weeks before Jill's wedding, she was terribly anxious about making some mistakes at the ceremony. The minister reassured her several times, pointing out that the service was not difficult and she will do just fine.
"All you have to remember," he said, "is that when you enter the church you walk up the AISLE. The groom and best man will be waiting before the ALTAR. Then I shall request the congregation to sing a HYMN....then we shall get on with the ceremony.
All you have to remember is the order in which those things happen and you can't go wrong."
The happy day finally arrived, and the bridegroom waited nervously for his bride to appear.
When she arrived and stood alongside him, he heard her quietly repeating to herself, "Aisle, altar, hymn, aisle, altar, hymn."
Or, as it sounded to him, "I'll alter him!"
29. THE RING?
Dave took Mary out for a romantic dinner where conversation turned to the subject of marriage. Dave had been saving for an engagement ring, but he was in graduate school and in dire need of a new computer.
Mary was understanding, telling Dave they had the rest of their lives to get engaged, so he should use his savings to buy a computer instead. During dessert, Dave suddenly reached into his pocket and pulled out an engagement ring.
Mary was stunned, but after she collected herself, she looked up and prompted, "Well, don't you have something to ask me?"
Dave then got down on bended knee. "Honey," he said, "will you buy me a new computer?"

THE BEDOUIN'S HOME........... is his tent, made of black goat hair. This is the same material as the sackcloth of Bible times. Overhead is a large awning held up by poles. The ends are drawn out by cords tied to pegs and driven into the ground. It was one of these tent pegs that Jael used to drive into Sisera's head while he slept. (Judges 4:21)

80 Christians Held Hostage for 16 Days as Muslims Burn Down Homes
by Michael Ireland, ASSIST News ServiceJIMA, ETHIOPIA - Twenty-five Muslims are reported to have burned down 10 Christian homes, leaving 80 Christians homeless in Goda district of Jima, Ethiopia.
According to ICC (International Christian Concern) Persecution.org, the attackers, who were led by a local government militia, also set fire to Christians’ barns killing their animals and destroying their harvest on July 15th at 8 PM local time.
“The assailants asked the Christians to leave their homes and told them, ‘We will show you what we are going to do to your homes and if you inform this to anyone we will burn you the way we burn your homes.’ Then they set the Christian homes on fire and began celebrating by singing near the burned homes,†said a Christian leader in an interview to ICC.
ICC says the attackers then prevented the victims from leaving the village for 16 days.
Finally, one of the Christians managed to escape and report the attacks to district officials after walking for 16 hours.
The police temporarily arrested the person who led the attack and a local official. But they were later released on bail. The Muslims have prevented the Christians from rebuilding their homes and the Christians now live under trees.
ICC explained that this is not for the first time that Christians have been attacked in Jimma.
In October 2006, a Muslim mob killed six Christians. In June 2010, Muslims destroyed coffee farms belonging to two Christian converts from Islam. According to a 1994 national census, 82.57 percent of the population in Jima is Muslim. Christians complain that Muslim officials in Jimma deny them land for building churches and cemeteries.
ICC’s Regional Manager for Africa, Jonathan Racho, said “We are deeply concerned about the attack by Muslims against Christian villagers in Jimma. We call for thorough investigations of the attack and urge Ethiopian officials to bring all the perpetrators to justice.â€

WAXING LYRICAL
This poem arose out of the unexpected, untimely death of a very good friend's daughter. Why God, why!But still, life continues on for us who are left, until our turn comes to meet our maker.
GONE!
Life's short.
Death's caught.
Comes to all.
Small and tall.
It's good to grieve one who did leave,
But life goes on, loved one gone.
How can we cope - sit round and mope?
From dust to dust, in God we trust.
He seems far away,
As we try to pray!
"Where are you now Lord!
You've broken the cord!"
"I am still here for you, my child,
Know that, with Me, you're wild.
But death, it will ever be,
Until earth, is sin free.
Look up, look up, my son,
Into my arms, do now run,
I am always here for you,
Believe it - it is true.
I so understand your sorrow,
As in My path you do follow.
Gave my Son to die for you,
Grief was in My heart, too.
My ways are different to yours,
Yes, mine is a greater cause.
But with death comes eternal life,
No more worry, no more strife...
When your life you do put in my hand,
With me, for eternity, will you stand.
In Jesus now, you must surely rest,
It's through Him, you pass the test.
Come, my friend, rest in my embrace,
Yes, I am with you, in life's race.
One day too, you will reach the finishing line,
I'll meet you there - your hand clasped in mine."
