APOLOGIES - MISSING PART 3 FOLLOWS
Several have mentioned that Part 3 of this teaching is missing. I apologize for that, due to my error when preparing these editorials in advance, to cover our time overseas. Part 3 follows.An expanded version of this teaching on the rapture will start in tomorrow's TUESDAY TEACHING. I recommend that you go through this again as it is a major area of deception in the church today, causing Christians to take their faith less seriously, in the false expectation of being 'raptured out of here' at the first sign of trouble.
Jesus came to make 100% dedicated 'disciples', ones equipped and committed to follow Him, whatever life may throw at us.

‘THE RAPTURE’ - SATAN’S PLAN OF DECEPTION WITHIN TODAY’S CHURCH (Part 3)
SCRIPTURES NEGATING RAPTURE THEORYThe Bible is very clear that God’s people will have to go through times of hardship and suffering, as Jesus did on the cross and as all the disciples, except John (he was only boiled in oil!), did for their faith.
It is the call of disciples to suffer hardship whether it be physical martyrdom as were the original 12 (The 11 left + Paul), emotional or spiritual rejection, financial, or many other ways…..
21 They preached the gospel in that city and won a large number of disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch, 22 strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. ‘We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,’ they said. (Acts 24:21-2)
This certainly has been my experience! Through two bankruptcies where we lost everything and, at times, through spiritual rejection by those we looked up to, Kathy and I have been ‘through the wars’ in our walk with Jesus. For me personally, I have come closer to the Lord in the bad times more easily than the good, for He was the only one left to share my misery and pain. It actually is the same for all of us.
After not being understood for many years in the revelation the Lord had given me, I wondered if I really wasn’t hearing from the Lord at all. Then, on a ministry trip to I Africa, I went to Capetown in South Africa, where I mat a group of apostolic gifted people from round the world to whom the Lord had given similar understanding. Was I relieved! In talking with them, the uniting factor was that all, without exception had experienced very hard times in their lives, which the Lord used to refine and teach them. Suddenly I understood! The truly sold out disciple will have to make the sacrifice of their life, spiritual, physical, or both, in order to enter the kingdom.
Obviously this does not line up with the ‘easy Christianity’ rapture theory which is designed by satan to mislead people into thinking that sacrifice is not required, because we will be zapped out of here when the going gets too tough. Satan is the deceiver, the seat of lies, the destroyer of the church, keeping it ineffective, depicting a ‘Father Christmas’ God who will make life easy for us, then rapture us when the world’s situation gets too hot to handle!
This is tough, I know. But all those I know who have a genuine kingdom understanding and desire to follow their Lord with 100% submission, without exception, reject the rapture theory as it is taught today. This is clearly explained in Romans …..
17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs – heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. (Romans 8:17)
We will now look at three verses that are often used to justify rapture theory, but actually refute it, as we misinterpret or misunderstand the words…..
15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. (John 17:15)
10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. (Revelation 3:10)
How awful that day will be! No other will be like it. It will be a time of trouble for Jacob, but he will be saved out of it. (Jeremiah 30:7)
The highlighted words, often used as justifications for the rapture, are translated from the same Greek words, tereo ek. These words mean to be kept from falling - not giving way under pressure and temptation, not physical rescue or protection.
So, in fact, the reverse is true! We are to be protected THROUGH, NOT FROM the promised tribulation at the end of the age.

Jesus Anointed at Simon’s House (Luke 7:36-50)
Simon the Pharisee criticized Jesus for allowing a sinful woman to anoint Him with perfume.
“Simon, I have something to tell you.â€
“Once two people were in debt to a money-lender. One owed five hundred denarii, the other only fifty. Neither of them could repay him, so he forgave the debts. Which one will love him the most?â€
The one he forgave the most.
“You’re absolutely right,†“You see this woman? When I came into your house, you didn’t give me water to wash my feet. But she has washed my feet with her tears, and wiped them with her hair. You didn’t give me a kiss, but since I came in she hasn’t stopped kissing my feet. You didn’t anoint my head with oil, but she poured perfume over my feet. So I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—that’s why she loves so much. But whoever is forgiven little, only loves a little.â€
To the woman.
“Your sins have been forgiven.â€
“Your trust has saved you, go in peace.â€
Pharisees Rebuked (Matthew 12:24-37, Mark 3:22-30)
The Pharisees claimed Jesus’ power to heal came from demons.
“Any kingdom divided against itself will be destroyed. No town or household divided against itself can stand. If Satan drives out Satan, he’s divided against himself— so how could his kingdom stand? If I’m throwing out demons in the name of Beelzebub, in whose name are your people throwing out demons? Your own people prove you’re wrong! But if I’m throwing out demons through the power of the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come to you!
“Can you enter a strong man’s house and take his belongings unless you tie him up first? If you do that then you can take everything in his house. Those who are not with me are against me, and those who do not gather together with me do the opposite: they are scattering. That’s why I’m telling you that every sin and blasphemy you commit will be forgiven, except blasphemy against the Spirit which won’t be forgiven. Those who say something against the Son of man will be forgiven, but those who say something against the Holy Spirit won’t be forgiven, neither in this life nor the next. Either decide that the tree is good, and its fruit good, or decide that the tree is bad and its fruit is bad—for the tree is known by its fruit. You viper’s brood, how can you who are evil say anything good? For your mouth simply says what your mind is busy thinking about. A good person brings out good from their store of good things, and an evil person brings out evil from their store of evil things. I tell you, people will have to account for every careless thing they say on the Day of Judgment. For what you say will either vindicate you or condemn you.â€

I understand that some readers will look at the headline and immediately delete this ezine from their mailing list! Such is the hold that rapture theory has in the Pentecostal and Charismatic streams of today’s church. Not only has satan infiltrated the church with this unbiblical concept but, in typical fashion, satan has also brought division within it! 416. CUSSING DEACON
A Preacher was made aware that he had a Deacon in his church who was from time to time known to cuss.
In his attempt to help the Deacon overcome this terrible habit, the Preacher decided he should spend some personal time with the Deacon so they could have a long talk about the problem. The Preacher decided to ask the Deacon to go fishin' thinking that might provide

They were out in a boat and had their lines in the water when the Preacher hooked a big one. It put up a mighty fight, but finally he reeled the fish up to the edge of the boat. 159. QUICK THINKING
The guard in Air Force basic training must check the ID of everyone who comes to the door. A trainee was standing guard when he heard a pounding on the door and the order, "Let me in!" Through the window, he saw the uniform of a lieutenant colonel and immediately opened up. He quickly realized his mistake.
"Airman! Why didn't you check for my authority to enter?"
Thinking fast, the airman replied, "Sir, you'd have gotten in anyway."
"What do you mean?"
"Uh,..the hinges on the door are broken, Sir."
"What? Show me!"
With a twinkle in his eye, the airman opened the door, let the officer step out, and slammed the door.
"Airman! Open up immediately!"
"Sir, may I see your authority to enter?"
The airman was rewarded for outsmarting his commanding officer.
160.HOW OLD ARE YOU?
As a professor at Texas A & M, I taught during the day and did research at night. I would usually take a break around nine, however, calling up the strategy game Warcraft on the Internet and playing with an on-line team.
One night I was paired with a veteran of the game who was a master strategist. With him at the helm, our troops crushed opponent after opponent, and after six games we were undefeated. Suddenly my fearless leader informed me his mom wanted him to go to bed. "How old are you?" I typed.
"Twelve," he replied. "How old are you?"
Feeling my face redden, I answered, "Eight."

Radical Revival Falls on China's State-Controlled Churches - Part 1
"We were seeing something unprecedented. We had no theological training in the move of the Holy Spirit. This was completely new for us." -Pastor Sun(China)—[CBN News] You're about to hear first-hand testimony of an unprecedented Christian revival happening in parts of China. What is unique about this story is how God is moving among communist-controlled government churches.
CBN News traveled to southern China and obtained exclusive, never-before-seen images, from inside these churches.
When God Shows Up in a Communist Church
It's Thursday evening in Fujian Province, southeast China. Scores of men and women are dancing, waving flags, blowing shofars, singing and worshipping God.
You might think these images come from a charismatic service in the United States. But they're not. This is communist, and officially still atheist China.
And what Duan Huilai says is remarkable about this scene is that it's happening in an officially government-controlled congregation known as Three-Self Church.
"Dramatic changes are happening," Duan told CBN News. "God is moving in a powerful way inside these Three-Self Churches."
Duan and his wife have witnessed this move first-hand. Both are evangelists and have for several years crisscrossed the Chinese countryside documenting the Holy Spirit's move among Three-Self Churches.
"The most amazing thing is that the Lord is raising up God-loving people in these churches—so many brothers and sisters who love God deeply and want to serve Him," Duan said.
Signs and Wonders Now Allowed
Pastor Duan says what is happening today in Beijing and in other parts of China as it relates to the powerful move of God amongst the Three-Self Churches is quite remarkable considering where the Church has been in the last 30 years.
"Every sermon that the pastor preached back then had to be vetted by the government authorities. Young people were never allowed to attend these churches so you'd only see old people, mostly women," Duan said. "Preaching about the power of the Holy Spirit was forbidden. You couldn't talk about end times or preach repentance."
Topics on healings, miracles, signs and wonders were out of the question. Not anymore.
"Nowadays people have accepted these topics," Duan said.
Two main types of churches exist in China: registered and unregistered. Registered congregations, also known as Three-Self Churches, are government-approved.
Unregistered, sometimes called underground or house churches, operate outside government control, and for decades faced intense persecution. And with that persecution came tremendous growth.
Three-Self Churches on the other hand never experienced that kind of explosive growth. Until now.
"Now there's big revivals happening in the Three-Self Churches," Dr. Zhao Xiao told CBN News from his offices on the outskirts of China's capital city.
Communist Encounters Christ
Zhao is one of China's foremost experts on Christianity. A former Communist Party member and atheist, Zhao converted after reading the Bible.
"If you go to Haidian Church, you'll find yourself in a more than 100-meter line trying to get inside and worship. In Shenzhen, there are usually an average of 500 people being baptized each Sunday!" he shared.
Decades ago, the Chinese government had a law that said that young men and women below the age of 18 could not attend Three-Self Churches. Zhao says those rules have been loosened in recent years.
"There's an increasing proportion of them in churches now—more young male Believers, professionals, mainstream celebrities, especially in the big cities, that are attending the church unlike the past when it was mainly the elderly who attended."

On a day when I ran out of other inspiration to write 'A David Musing' in the weekly PGIM! ezine.(HALF)WIT OR WISDOM?
Today, I have some time,
So, 'why not a rhyme?'
A very good idea indeed,
For brain work I need.
But what will I write about?
Something with some clout!
Or something simple, so not the brain to strain,
Yet still, a modicum of intelligence to feign.
The decision will be yours as to which way I went,
Whether philosophy or simplicity is my bent.
For I have no idea what may now come forth,
Be it at first attempt, or the fourth! (sorry, nothing else rhymes with 'forth')
I was born on the 'fourth' of July you see,
A very special day, both for America and me.
For if, at that time, I had not been born,
My birth could now be treated with scorn!
But instead, I get fireworks every year,
Something I love, let me make clear,
But I live in the wrong country, I now do remember,
For in New Zealand, 'cracker night' is 5 November!
Now that information is all but by the by,
To get serious I will now earnestly try.....

A DAVID MUSING
Our final stop in India was at Agra, north of Delhi in North India to see the Taj Mahal.This has been the one real thing on my 'bucket list' that I had not yet done. (it never had much on it anyway!)
The reason for my particular interest was that my parents had visited it in the 1950's at a time when few tourists went to India. They came back with a lot pictures and models, which took my fancy at the time, and has remained in my memory ever since.
The Taj Mahal certainly lived up to expectations as one of the 7 wonders of the modern world - beautiful, magnificent, amazing, incredible.......!!!
Built by the Mughal Emperor Shajahan between 1638 and 1658 by 20,000 people, just about sending India broke in the process! But the result - wow & wow, again and again!
