AND THE GREATEST OF THESE IS - LOVE

What is at the heart of the end time, kingdom church?

The answer is actually very simple in principle, if not so simple to activate! For the answer is found in one word - LOVE.

But what is love?

1. LOVE IS THE CHARACTER OF GOD
2. WE ARE COMMANDED TO LOVE GOD IN RETURN
3. THE ATTITUDE OF THE DENOMINATIONAL CHURCH
4. WE ARE ALSO COMMANDED TO LOVE OTHERS
5. CAN WE BECOME 'LOVE'LY BY OURSELVES?
6. GOOD WORKS AND LOVE ARE NOT NECESSARILY THE SAME
7. LOVE MUST CHANGE US
8. LOVE CHANGES THOSE WE LOVE
9. LOVE IS THE SOURCE OF UNITY

Today.....

10. LOVE IS THE KEY TO THE KINGDOM

Today's word is from Ron McGatlin (See photo) of OpenHeaven.com, so you don't think that 'only David' has these revelations of the kingdom.

Love Dissolving Limitations (The Next Move of God)

For some time now many of God’s people have been expecting another great move of God. Prophets have been proclaiming it, often with an accompanying statement something like this, “A great move is coming that will bring great transformation, but we don’t know what it will look like.” Some have heard clearly by the Spirit that this move would not be like past moves that came like a wave and then later ebbed away. Each move seemed to drift back where it had come from. However, each wave left its mark upon the world. A fresh layer of restored truth and change was left with the people of God.

Tabernacles, the move of God that will never end, is now coming upon the earth. It is characterized by God within and among us. His presence within us and among us is pure, holy, all-consuming love beyond explanation and description. Our past life is dissolved in the fire of His love consuming us. In an instant we are changed and are fully aware that it is Christ now living in us by the Holy Spirit in this new place where we abide. Pure holy love tabernacles or abides in and with us changing everything.

Relationships change, situations change, what we could not do before now seems to do itself. God’s love is power flowing into and out from us dissolving walls and limitations. Barriers and boundaries are dissolved effortlessly. Our hearts and minds are cleansed as love dissolves every need that once drove us. All strife, bitterness, fear, and any other negative emotion or stress is dissolved in the power of His love. In the unavoidable interactions with the abrasive and tragic fallen world around us, we are strengthened to endure and come through unscathed in His love.

This move of God is completely from God inside of us. This is not a platform or pulpit move. It is a Spirit move inside the hearts of God’s people that is totally changing us from within.

In the past moves, we may have thought that we were in great shape with God and even did great works displaying natural and supernatural gifts ministering powerfully to the people. However, in this new move, only after this pure, holy, all-consuming love came in and cleansed us did we realize that we had been still contaminated with stuff. When we became cleansed in His love, we sensed the absence of all need in our lives. This was the first time we saw what had been remaining in us. After the stuff that had caused strife, disorder, and weakness amongst the people left, we were able to then see that it had been there and love had washed it away.

Our hearts are melted with the realization of His perfect love for us and in us. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, we are totally washed clean by His purifying love. His pure holy love gushes into our spirits, souls, and bodies. We are captive in His love.

False or outdated established structures within our hearts and lives are dissolved instantly. Man-made structures of religious, social, and political order around us will also be eventually dissolved in this never-ending move of God’s all powerful love. His pure, holy, all-consuming love is transforming His people to transform the world into the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. The perfect law of love fulfills all law and all prophecy. All these structures will pass away, but His love and His kingdom will never end.

In this pure move of love, trust and faith are abundant – the heavens are truly opened as we truly experience what it means to live and walk in the Spirit. Access is opened to enter spiritual heaven and commute there and back receiving of the resources of heaven to fulfill the work of establishing God’s kingdom on earth in the hearts of His people first and then into all aspects of the created world. All things are possible to the pure holy sons of God abiding in Christ and Christ in us as one.

The word and the reality of God’s kingdom on earth are further opened and unveiled to us. Mysteries are revealed as our spiritual senses are fully opened to experience the reality of life in the Spirit with God continuously.

All pretension and veils are removed from our hearts and lives. We can only speak the truth in love. We can only do and say what we see and experience God doing. Our minds are at perfect peace and function with greater clarity of understanding that derives its life from the one source of the wisdom from heaven.

Brothers and sisters, we are in this world at this time in the providence of God to become a part of the great move of God that will never end – the move of His love transforming us and eventually this world to His pure, holy, kingdom of heaven on earth.

Be consumed and lose your lives now for the sake of the love of God in Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit and the gospel of His kingdom. Truly when we seek only His kingdom, all things are added to us far beyond what we may have thought that meant in the past. As we seek His kingdom, heaven is opened to us in this season of the ushering in of this great move of God on earth that will never end. There will truly be no ebb.

He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. (Matthew 10:39)

For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. (Mark 8:35)

Love never fails, and His kingdom never ends.

FROM THE WORD

THE WORDS OF JESUS

May we hear what the Lord is saying to us.

There Heals a Demon-possessed Man (Matthew 8:28-34, Mark 5:1-20, Luke 8:26-39)
Jesus talking to the evil spirits.

“What is your name?”

Legion, meaning many. The man begs to go with Jesus.

“Go home to your own people, and tell them everything the Lord has done for you and how he has been merciful to you.”

Healing the Sick Woman (Matthew 9:20-22, Mark 5:24-34, Luke 8:42-8)
In a crowd.

“Who touched me?”
“Someone touched me,” “I know because power went out from me.”
“Daughter, your trust has healed you, go in peace.”

Healing Jairus’ Daughter (Matthew 9:23-6, Mark 5:35-43, Luke 8:49-56)
When Jarius was told his daughter was dead.

“Don’t be afraid, just trust in me.”

When he got to the home of Jarius.

“Why are you making such a commotion with all this crying? The little girl isn’t dead, she’s just sleeping.”
“Talitha koum,” (which means, “Little girl, get up!”)

Healing Two Blind Men (Matthew 9:27-31)
In another place.

“Are you convinced that I’m able to do this?”
“Because of your trust in me it will happen!”
“Make sure nobody knows about this.”

Second Rejection in Nazareth (Matthew 13:54-8, Mark 6:1-6)
When teaching in the local synagogue.

“A prophet is treated with respect except in his home town, among his relatives, and in his own family,”

DAVID'S DOODLINGS

LOVE

508. True love is of the will, rather than the heart.

509. True love is truly proven in unlovely situations.

510.“It is better to have loved and lost…” is not true of God’s love. For He never fails us.

511. Jesus specialises in loving the unlovely – fortunately for me!

512. We all need love. What differs, is where we seek to find it!

513. To submit our will to another is the ultimate love commitment.

514. Jesus loved us to death!

515. It is much harder for the worthy to accept God’s love than the unworthy. Always has been, always will be.

516. As passion goes, true love grows.

517. Passion stirs, love builds.

LAUGHING AT OURSELVES

***Blessed are those who can laugh at themselves for they shall never cease to be amused***

*** Those who can't laugh at themselves leave the job to others. ***

191. THE BEST LIE
A pastor was walking down the street when he came upon a group of about a dozen boys, all of them between 10 and 12 years of age. The group surrounded a dog. Concerned lest the boys were hurting the dog, he went over and asked, "What are you boys doing with that dog?"

One of the boys replied, "This dog is just an old neighborhood stray. We all want him, but only one of us can take him home. So we've decided that whichever one of us can tell the biggest lie will get to keep the dog."

Of course the pastor was scandalized. "You boys shouldn't be having a contest telling lies!" he exclaimed. He then launched into a ten-minute sermon against lying, beginning, "Don't you boys know it's a sin to lie," and ending with, "Why, when I was your age, I never told a lie."

There was dead silence for about a minute. Just as the pastor began to think he'd really gotten through to them, the smallest boy gave a deep sigh and said, "All right, give him the dog."

190. THE TIMID WITNESS
After being appointed to the church's evangelism and outreach committee, one particular member was quite nervous at having to make evangelistic visits. His Pastor comforted him by suggesting that he pray. "If you spend a few minutes talking with God prior to visiting someone, it should help."

When the committee met again, the nervous parishioner approached the Pastor and said, "Thank-you so much for suggesting prayer. I tried it before I went on my visit and it really worked!"

"I'm so pleased to hear that," the Pastor answered. "Why don't you share your experience with the rest of the committee so others may know of the power of prayer?"

"Well," he replied, "I prayed that the people wouldn't be home, and they weren't."

189. PRIDE GOETH BEFORE A FALL:
Five Americans, including a famous brain surgeon, a prominent minister of a large church, a college student, and the president of the National Mensa Society were flying across the Rockies in the same airplane. Suddenly the pilot emerged from the cockpit with four parachutes. As he strapped one on, he said, "We've developed mechanical difficulties and we're losing altitude." He tossed the three remaining chute packs on the floor, opened the hatch and jumped out.

Immediately, the brain surgeon stood up and said that since he could save lives with all of his skill and knowledge, he should have the first chute. The others agreed and he jumped from the plane. The Mensa Society president declared, "Since I am the leader of America's most intelligent people, I can do much to better the world. I deserve a parachute." Before the others could say a word, he snatched a pack from the hands of the student, slipped into the straps and jumped.

The minister immediately spoke up: "My friend, you are young and have many years ahead of you. I, on the other hand, have enjoyed a long life and am ready to meet my Maker. I want you to..."

"Relax, pastor," interrupted the student. "We can both have a parachute. One of the most intelligent people in the world just jumped out of this airplane with my bookbag on his back."

FACTS FOR FUN

LAST WEEKS QUESTION: What controversy involving Pluto occurred in 1999?

ANSWER: In January 1999, misleading reports appeared in the media that suggested Pluto was about to lose its status as a planet and be reclassified as a minor planet or even an asteroid. The furore was caused by a suggestion to include Pluto in a specialised listing of ‘Trans-Neptunian Objects’, a group of smaller objects that have been discovered in the outer solar system beyond Neptune's orbit. These objects are similar to Pluto, though drastically smaller. Astronomers did not intend to imply that Pluto was not a planet by suggesting its inclusion on the list, but the assumption that Pluto was being ‘demoted’ caused an uproar anyway and the International Astronomical Union had to issue a statement confirming that Pluto remained our ninth planet. (Mickey and Donald were so pleased not to lose their good friend!)

547. HEARTY APPETITE
A single elephant can consume up to 500lbs (220 kilos) of hay and 60 gallons (260 litres) of water in one day. (How would they feed themselves without a trunk?)

548. HAIRY LEFTIES
All Polar bears are both left-handed and are the only mammals with hair on the soles of their feet. (Does one cause the other? Let me look at my feet! Phew! No!)

PETS RULE!

31. SERVICE WITH A SMILE
A man wrote a letter to a small hotel in a Midwest town he planned to visit on his vacation. He wrote:

I would very much like to bring my dog with me. He is well-groomed and very well behaved. Would you be willing to permit me to keep him in my room with me at night?

An immediate reply came from the hotel owner, who said, I've been operating this hotel for many years. In all that time, I've never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes or silverware or pictures off the walls.

I've never had to evict a dog in the middle of the night for being drunk and disorderly. And I've never had a dog run out on a hotel bill. Yes, indeed, your dog is welcome at my hotel. And, if your dog will vouch for you, you're welcome to stay here, too.

32. VIOLIN PRACTICE
Little Harold was practising the violin in the living room while his father was trying to read in the den.

The family dog was lying in the den, and as the screeching sounds of little Harold's violin reached his ears, he began to howl loudly.

The father listened to the dog and the violin as long as he could. Then he jumped up, slammed his paper to the floor and yelled above the noise, "For pity's sake, can't you play something the dog doesn't know?"

33. BE YOURSELF
President Calvin Coolidge once invited friends from his hometown to dine at the White House. Worried about their table manners, the guests decided to do everything that Coolidge did. This strategy succeeded, until coffee was served. The president poured his coffee into the saucer. The guests did the same. Coolidge added sugar and cream. His guests did, too. Then Coolidge bent over and put his saucer on the floor for the cat.

34. TEACHER'S PET
On a special Teachers' Day, a kindergarten teacher was receiving gifts from her pupils. The florist's son handed her a gift. She shook it, held it overhead, and said, "I bet I know what it is, some flowers."

"That's right" the boy said, "but how did you know?" "Oh, just a wild guess," she said.
The next pupil was the candy store owner's daughter. The teacher held her gift overhead, shook it and said, "I bet I can guess what it is, a box of candy." "That's right, but how did you know?" asked the girl. "Oh, just a wild guess," the teacher said.

The next gift was from the son of the liquor store owner. The teacher held it overhead, but it was leaking. She touched a drop of the leakage with her finger and touched it to her tongue. "Is it wine?" she asked. "No" the boy replied, obviously delighted that he was the first student to at least temporarily defy the teacher's apparent insight.

The teacher repeated the process, touching another drop of the leakage to her tongue. "Is it champagne?" she asked. "No," the clearly delighted boy answered. Once again the teacher tasted the leakage and finally ,"I give up, what is it?"

The boy enthusiastically replied, "It's a puppy!"

China: Church will send out 20,000 missionaries

Joel News International

‘The church in China has been maturing in its understanding of its role in world missions’, writes David Ro of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Chinese leaders are now focusing on healthy sending bases and structures. As 20,000 foreign missionaries have been sent to China in the last 200 years, the Mission China 2030 challenge aims to see at least 20,000 Chinese missionaries overseas by 2030.

‘China’s example should inspire church leaders anywhere to come together in unity to accomplish a global mission vision for their country’, says Ro. ‘They also need to be prepared for a Chinese church on a mission with a global reach. Through trials and suffering, God has faithfully blessed the church in China so that it may be a blessing to the world’.

An in-depth analysis of the emergence of China as a global missions force is available on the website of the Lausanne Movement.

Christian columnist Lee Grady also wrote about this development. ‘You can’t ignore the miracle of Christianity in China. Last week I worshipped in Hong Kong at the Wing Kwong Church, that has grown from 28 members in 1978 to more than 13,000 today.’

'Hudson Taylor's beloved China is becoming a Christian country.'

Speaker at the meeting was James Hudson Taylor IV, the great-great-grandson of British missionary pioneer Hudson Taylor, who ventured to China in 1854 to evangelize the world's most populous nation. ‘God has entrusted to the Chinese church a special mandate for the 21st century,’ he declared.

When Hudson Taylor sailed to China, there were no Christians there - yet the China Inland Mission that he established won 18,000 converts to Jesus Christ during his lifetime and became one of the greatest success stories in modern missions. Today, Taylor's great-great-grandson witnesses one of the greatest miracles on planet earth - Hudson Taylor's beloved China is becoming a Christian country.

Consider these facts about the Chinese church:

1. China will likely become the largest Christian nation in the world by the year 2030. Fenggang Yang, a professor of sociology at Purdue University, predicts that by 2030, China's total Christian population, including Catholics, will exceed 247 million, placing it above Mexico, Brazil and the United States as the largest Christian population in the world.

2. More Christians attend church on Sundays in China today than in Europe.

3. Spiritual hunger is exploding in China, even though the country is officially atheist. A recent study found that online searches for the words "Christian congregation" and "Jesus" are far more numerous than for "communist party." And as more people have moved from rural areas to big cities, large numbers of young professionals have turned to Christ. Missiologists say between 10,000 and 25,000 people convert to Christianity every day in China.

4. Persecution of Christians is still rampant in China, but it does not seem to be slowing church growth.

5. The growth of Chinese Christianity is linked to its economic growth. Economists announced that China overtook the United States as the world's largest economy in late 2014. A recent study by Qunyong Wang of Nankai University and Xinyu Lin of Renmin University of China discovered there was robust economic growth in areas of China where Christian congregations are growing. Could it be that God will use the vast financial resources of China to pay for the next great thrust of world evangelism?

WAXING LYRICAL

Proving the spiritual gift of patience in an important decision is a real test. One, I am with difficulty, learning to live out!

We live through the seasons, in the natural and the Spirit

WIIIIIIIINTER

The weather has changed
It wasn't arranged,
With me at least!
What a beast!

Sitting in my office, in the cold,
Shivering - no, not getting old!
That is what I convince myself!
Too young to be on the shelf!

While winter is nearly here'
Sad for my body - oh dear!
I know Spring will one day come,
Ninety-odd days, and then some.

So I much look forward to the day,
When the warm will return to stay,
For another nine months or so,
To be shining on my torso.

So put a smile on my face
As through Winter I race.
Knowing the sun will return,
For that time, I do yearn.

Living the Summer and Winter of Life,
Some days are good, some in strife.
But in heaven, I am sure we will find,
Eternal sunshine - if you don't mind!

A DAVID MUSING

This weekend is more relaxed than the last, when we had our hurriedly arranged meeting here in Napier. My huge thanks to Graeme, Graham and Jude, and John, for worship, hospitality and filming.

The prophetic worship, with Graeme Cook, was brilliant and the kingdom teaching and sharing very different to many of those attending. I haven't been run out of town - yet!

Amongst many there is a hunger for more of God, while others remain content with the status quo.

Since then I/we have had both temporary challenges and a big blessing. So I guess the devil is unhappy and the Lord happy with what was done at the weekend.

For there is a cost in pressing deeper into God but also the ultimate blessing of ruling and reigning with Christ as part of His bride.

Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Come Jesus, come.

So until next week.....

MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOU BLESS GOD

His servant and yours
